How can i delete my telegram account permanently? is there a way to do it? or is there anyway to temporarily deactivate it instead?

You can permanently delete your Telegram account, but there’s no temporary deactivation option. You can simply log out or uninstall the app if you want a break.

Steps to delete your Telegram account

Open Telegram’s official account deletion page: my.telegram.org/auth.
Enter your phone number with your country code (for India, use +91).
Telegram will send a confirmation code to the Telegram app, not usually by SMS.
Enter the code on the website and sign in.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Important: Account deletion is permanent. Your Telegram messages, contacts, and cloud data will be deleted, and you cannot recover your account history. Other people may still retain copies of messages you sent them.

If you only want a temporary break, you can uninstall Telegram instead without deleting your account.

I thinkm telegram doesn't offer temporary deactivation at least for the regular accounts we all have. Not sure about Paid ones.
